# Airdrop Distribution
Marketing communication. XTEN may lose all value, be illiquid or non-transferable. Restrictions apply. See XTEN White Paper, Terms, Risk Statement & Restricted Regions.
**300,000,000 XTEN, 30% of the genesis supply, is allocated to eligible participants in the Extended Points programme, fully unlocked at TGE.**
#### Eligibility
To receive XTEN you must:
* be 18 or older
* not be subject to sanctions
* not be located in a Restricted Region, as set out in the Terms of Use
* have an Extended account linked to a self-custodial wallet
* hold eligible Points under the Extended Points programme
* sign the Community Distribution Terms and Conditions within the applicable signing window

#### Wallet selection
By default, XTEN is sent to the wallet the Extended account was created with. You can choose to send your entire allocation to another self-custodial wallet, provided that wallet has an active Extended account. In that case, both wallets must accept the Terms and pass the eligibility and compliance checks.
The alternative-wallet selection is irrevocable once confirmed.
#### Identity checks
ID verification is not generally required to receive XTEN. You claim with a self-hosted wallet connected to your account. All claims go through eligibility, location, sanctions and wallet-screening checks, and in some cases, we may ask for additional information or verification to confirm eligibility or comply with applicable law.
Exchange deposit addresses and other custodial addresses cannot receive XTEN.
#### When XTEN arrives

Delivery may be delayed where further compliance review is required. Any allocation not accepted by the close of the window is transferred to the Ecosystem Fund.
Signing the Terms and staking are separate decisions. Signing does not stake your XTEN, and staking is not required to receive it. See [Staking](/extended-resources/xten/staking.md).
#### EEA users
XTEN spot trading will not be available on Extended for EU users at launch. European Points holders will still be able to claim, hold, stake and transfer XTEN. XTEN will also be available for trading on several external venues.
#### Security
* XTEN claiming happens only in the Extended app.
* There is no payment required.
* Extended will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys, by direct message or otherwise.
