# The Final Arc Trading Competition

### Timeline

The Competition runs for four weeks **from** **7 October 2026, 00:00 UTC until 3 November 2026, 00:00 UTC.**

### Rewards

Total prize pool: **$250,000** distributed across **500 winners**, plus **750,000 Xpoints** shared by all qualified traders.

**Activity Pool**

**750,000 Xpoints** are shared by all qualified traders, in proportion to their Activity Score:

`Activity Score = Weighted Volume⁰·⁷ × OI⁰·³`

`Your Xpoints = 750,000 × (your Activity Score ÷ total Activity Score of all qualified traders)`

* Xpoints from the Activity Pool are earned in addition to any cash prize.
* Xpoints are distributed after the Competition ends.

### Scoring for Cash Prizes

Participants are ranked by:

`Score = PnL × Weighted Volume⁰·⁷ × OI⁰·³`

* Weighted Volume - crypto taker fills count in full, RWA taker fills at 50%, maker fills at 10%.
* OI is measured as time-weighted open interest - open interest averaged across the entire competition period, not the peak or final position size.
  * Each position contributes in proportion to how long it is held.
  * OI is measured as your net position in each market, across all of your sub-accounts.
  * **Example (with a 10 hour competition**):
    * Trader A opens a $100,000 position at the start and holds it for all 10 hours.\
      Time-weighted OI = $100,000 × (10/10) = $100,000
    * Trader B opens the same $100,000 position, holds it for 1 hour, then closes and stays flat for the remaining 9 hours.\
      Time-weighted OI = $100,000 × (1/10) = $10,000
* **Scoring example:** a trader with $10,000 PnL, $4M crypto taker volume, $2M RWA taker volume, $1M maker volume and $200,000 time-weighted OI:
  * Weighted Volume = $4M + (50% × $2M) + (10% × $1M) = $5.1M
  * Activity Score = 5.1M⁰·⁷ × 200,000⁰·³ ≈ 1.93M
  * Score = 10,000 × 1.93M ≈ 19.3B
* Scores can be negative. All sub-accounts of a wallet are combined. The leaderboard updates every minute.
* Extended may correct calculation, pricing or data errors where reasonably necessary.

#### Terms & Conditions

By participating in The Final Arc Trading Competition (the "Competition"), you agree to these Terms.

**Eligibility**

Participation is subject to Extended's discretion. Extended may refuse, restrict, suspend, or revoke participation or prize eligibility at any time. Participation does not guarantee eligibility for any Arc or Circle points program, token or distribution. Accounts with elevated API rate limits are not eligible to participate or receive prizes, including Xpoints from the Activity Pool. Extended may also exclude accounts that it reasonably believes are operated for institutional, professional, or market-making purposes.

**Prohibited Conduct**

Wash trading, self-trading, collusion, use of multiple controlled accounts, artificial volume, manipulation, exploitation of technical errors or other attempts to unfairly influence the Competition are prohibited.

**Disqualification**

Extended may disqualify participants, aggregate related accounts, exclude trades or withhold prizes, including Xpoints, where it reasonably suspects prohibited conduct or abuse.

**Changes / Cancellation**

Extended may suspend, modify or cancel the Competition, or exclude any participant or market, where reasonably necessary, including due to legal, regulatory, technical, security or market-integrity considerations.

**Risk**

Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Nothing relating to the Competition constitutes investment advice. Participants remain solely responsible for their trading decisions.
