# Team

We are an ex-Revolut team with hands-on experience building fintech products for millions of retail users. Our engineering team brings deep expertise in high-performance trading infrastructure across both traditional finance and centralised crypto exchanges.

The founding team behind Extended includes:

* [@rf\_extended](https://x.com/rf_extended), CEO: Former Head of Crypto Operations at Revolut, ex-McKinsey
* [@dk\_extended](https://x.com/dk_extended), CTO: Architect of four crypto exchanges, including the recently launched Revolut Crypto Exchange
* [@spooky\_x10](https://twitter.com/spooky_x10), CBO: Former Lead Engineer at Revolut Crypto and a key contributor to the Corda blockchain

We started working together at Revolut, where we saw millions of users enter crypto during the last bull run, alongside a clear lack of high-quality products beyond a handful of leading exchanges and a fragmented DeFi experience. The collapse of FTX reinforced the need for a more transparent and resilient market structure.

Extended was founded to combine the performance and usability of centralised exchanges with the principles of self-custody and transparency. Starting with perpetuals, we are building toward a full-featured trading platform that brings DeFi closer to the standards of leading exchanges.
