# Team We are an ex-Revolut team with hands-on experience building fintech products for millions of retail users. Our engineering team brings deep expertise in high-performance trading infrastructure across both traditional finance and centralised crypto exchanges. The collapse of FTX reinforced the need for a more transparent and resilient market structure. Extended was founded to combine the performance and usability of centralised exchanges with the principles of self-custody and transparency.
